Legal Victories By Our Firm

Criminal Immigration:
  • 212(c) relief for convicted cocaine dealer, re-obtained green card and is now a US citizen
  • NACARA relief on remand from the BIA who could not demonstrate eligibility for the petty offense exception
  • Cancellation of removal for permanent resident with 3 crimes involving moral turpitude on record
  • Cancellation of removal for non-LPR alien; met burden of "exceptional and extremely unusual hardship"
  • Dozens of plea agreements reached that protected client's immigration status
  • Withholding of removal won for deportee who illegally re-entered the US and who was an aggravated felon (burglary and bail jumping)
  • Convinced Admin Appeals Office (AAO) that there was no wilful misrepresentation under 212(a)(6)(C)(i) and therefore no need for a hardship waiver


Business (Employment-Based) Immigration
  • Convinced USCIS of specialty occupation classification for several H-1B petitions

Family-Based Immigration
  • Successfully appealed I-485 adjustment denial where dependent family members had been out of status for over 3 years
  • I-485 approved for K-2 entrant who had been out of status for 23 years
  • I-130 approval won for client against whom USCIS made an initial finding of marriage fraud under 204(c)
  • Green card approved for long-delayed applicant who sued in federal court only to be dismissed and targeted with burdensome RFE's and a Notice of Intent to Deny
  • Successfully overcame derogatory information and prevented revocation of previously approved I-130 visa petition
