                                              Ashraf has been practicing law since 1998.  Over the years he has helped thousands of individuals obtain employment visas, green cards and citizenship.  Since 2001 Ashraf has courageously defended the most vulnerable of our society from overbearing government actions, ranging from Special Registration to accusations of terrorism.  As an outspoken champion of civil rights Ashraf has appeared in the media as a news maker and legal expert on TV (including Nightline, Donahue, Al-Jazeera, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS), in print (including the Washington Post, the New York Times, USA Today, the Chicago Tribune, the Detroit Free Press, Asharq Al Awsat, and Okaz) and on the internet.  His firm, the Nubani Law Firm, PC is an institution in the greater Washington, DC area.
