Attorney Amr A. Ahmed is of counsel to the HMA Law Firm. Amr has 6 years of diverse legal experience. He began his legal career as a law clerk for a general practice firm from 2005 – 2007 in his home town of New Orleans, Louisiana. During law school, he had the opportunity to witness the civil and criminal state court system from several perspectives through internships with a state judge, criminal prosecutors, and public defenders. Amr also assisted in the representation of indigent children and parents with a legal aid society. Since graduation from law school, Amr has worked with several large law firms as a contract attorney assisting with the discovery process of several high-profile lawsuits.

A passion for helping people is an essential quality for a good lawyer. Amr has extensive experience helping people as a volunteer and community leader with non-profit organizations. He is fluent in written and spoken Arabic and he studied Spanish for several years. Amr resides in Virginia with his wife and children.
